My husband is disabled, then required knee replacement, one month post surgery the home we had been renting since Jan 2002 caught fire. Major losses & we were underinsured, that is our fault.

But Encompass sent in subcontractors to "help" us recover. They promptly cut a check but we had to request the bills from the subcontractors to see where 1/3 of our claim was paid to. We did report damage & lost items to Encompass made by their subcontractors. They do not care.

We have reported being charged for services not performed by subcontractors but billed to our claim. They do not care. I sent detailed photo's and documentation & the representative did not even bother to open for over a month & that is when I contacted her again. Great rates, perhaps but don't have a problem.

We have been fighting the Encompass battle for 6 months & in March it will be one year since the fire. We are just a policy to them not people.
