Our teenage son had an accident---our FIRST ever claim against Encompass in the 16 years we had coverage with them. They immediately started sending letters that our coverage was going to be dropped because we hadn't paid the proper monthly premium.

I kept sending and sending them money----total of nearly $900. Our insurance agent investigated and found that we had in fact overpaid. Encompass didn't return phone calls to our agent.

Our whole family had been driving for 2 months with cancelled insurance and didn't even know it. There is no other explanation than the fact that our teenage son had an accident.
